While we sit here in Chicago with temperatures hovering in the teens and worse, we are all thinking of how nice a trip to the warm climate would be.

Well, we have packed our gear and are sending the crew for the Mexico leg of the popular PBS series we produce, Mexico One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless. The 12 day shoot will be in Mexico City, exploring the fine restaurants and street fare that makes the show so enticing. We shot the scenes at Rick's house in October while his garden was in full bloom with fresh herbs and flowers. It is a wonderful experience for the whole crew. Season 7 of Mexico: One Plate at a Time is being directed for the first time by Scott Dummler. So far, so good. Scott has done a great job. Look for the season to start running in September on PBS stations nationally.

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great 2008 and an even better 2009. We will hopefully rise out of the current recession once our new leader takes command. We are very excited about 2009 as far as the country is concerned and just as excited about our projects in development.

We wrapped up the year with a move to new offices at 1644 N. Honore, (773-227-3456) where we now share space with Ken and Cris Ohr of The Ingenuity Team. We share the floor with Jeff McClusky and Associates, one of the premiere music promoters in the country. We feel great about our fresh start and with Ken and Cris,they bring key marketing and consulting strategies to the business. Look forward to seeing many old friends and new faces in 2009. George did get a trip to LA to shoot and direct a project for Kellogg's that will be in a new promotion for their snack and cereal brands.
