George Elder, CEO E-Mail George
George has over 30 years experience in all
phases of film and video production. He has successfully managed
his own production and post-production companies since 1973, becoming
one of Chicago's leading producers of television commercials, corporate
image films, and documentaries. He has produced films and videos
in over 30 countries worldwide. As CEO and Executive Producer, George
oversees all Luminair film, video, and multimedia operations.
Scott Dummler, Producer and Editor E-Mail Scott
Scott joined Luminair in 1992 from Northwestern
University's Radio, Television, Film Department. Scott's responsibilities
at Luminair include Line Producer, Director, Camera Operator, Video
Technician and Soundman. His post-production responsibilities include
online and offline editing, as well as digital special effects animation.
His efforts have been instrumental in the successful production
of award-winning films for clients such as the Peace Corps, Monsanto,
Ingersoll-Rand, McDonald's, and Coca-Cola. Now he is currently the
producer and editor of Mexico: One Plate at a Time.
Elizabeth Elder, Business Manager E-Mail Beth
Beth has over twenty years of experience
in all aspects of film production. At Topel & Associates (and
on a freelance basis), she produced television commercials for clients
such as Kraft, United Airlines, Hallmark and 7-UP, winning numerous
awards, including CLIOS. Beth went on to help found Luminair Film
Productions, Inc., and oversees the financial management of Luminair.
Jeremy Pinkwater, Producer/ Editor E-Mail
Jeremy
Jeremy joined Luminair from his own production
company. After graduating from Columbia College with a film degree,
he worked the freelance circuit on feature films and Project Greenlight.
He is working towards becoming a producer of feature films under
the Luminair banner.
Daniel Elder, Producer/Motion Graphics/Editor E-Mail
Daniel
Daniel graduated from University of Illinois,
U-C with a degree in Speech Communication, with side studies
in art and design. With his knowledge in design he comes
to Luminair working on Motion Graphics, Editing, and Compositing.
As well, he is producing a feature film, "A House Divided" with
George and Jeremy. Since coming on in 2004 Daniel
has been a big contributer to the creative side of Luminair's
projects in development
Michael Benson, Director/Editor E-Mail
Mike
Michael joined the Luminair Team in 2005 shortly
after he graduated Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Film Production.
His experience with the narrative structure has helped Michael adapt to
the professional world of film, as well as become one of the key editors
for Luminair. Other duties include writing script coverage for possible
Luminair productions. Throughout his time at Luminair, he’s become
a versatile machine capable of shooting, lighting, editing and directing,
and a qualified production assistant.
Tom Elder-Groebe, Producer and Director of Marketing E-Mail Tom
Tom joins Luminair as a producer. He began
his career in production at the Spokane Intercollegiate
Research and Technology Institute as a Multimedia Lab Coordinator
marketing young companies to venture capitalists. Upon
graduation from Gonzaga University with a BA in Marketing,
he moved to Marin County, CA where he worked as the department
coordinator at Industrial Light + Magic Commercial Productions.Jeremy
is spearheading many of the projects in development, including
The Fun Hit Wonders, and other projects in development.
Laddie Scott Odom, Multimedia Director E-Mail Laddie
Laddie has over twenty years of experience in the field of computer animation,
graphic design and computer programming. His responsibilities include project
management in the development, design, and programming of multimedia projects.
Development platforms include CD-ROMs, interactive kiosks; computer based training
and Internet web sites. He has extensive technical and programming expertise in
many applications including Macromedia Director, Shockwave, Flash, Illustrator,
PhotoShop, and Quicktime VR.
Bob Long, Director/Cameraman E-Mail Bob
As a twenty-year veteran behind the scenes
for some of the best in the business, Bob has emerged as a serious
Director/Cameraman. Working with real people or heavyweight talent,
Bob brings the very best performance and creativity to each and
every project from features to TV spots to documentaries. Bob has
traveled the world capturing images that tell stories that win awards. |
